For the first time in TMW’s nine-year history, we present a special programme for kids and youngsters. Creative workshops from sound experience composing to true “teenage kicks“ gigs and talk sessions.

Musical Workshops for Kids

On March 30th, musical workshops featuring several prominent Estonian and international musicians of different genres, radio personalities and DJs, will take place at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre starting at 1 PM. Electronic musician and sound designer Taavi Tulev will show how to build your own interactive electronic sound installation, while Ukranian musician Ruslan Trochynskyi will talk about the differences and similarities between Estonian and Ukranian folk music. You can also create your own song with singer-songwriter Lenna and learn from her experiences in the music industry. Kids will find out how easy it is to record music using MIDI with Lepatriinu. Drummer Reigo Ahven will have everyone kicking their drums, while DJ Heidy Purga reveals the secrets of DJing and working at the radio.
