Finnish music company Fullsteam’s 15th birthday party to be celebrated at Tallinn Music Week

The city festival Tallinn Music Week (TMW) taking place from 27th March to 2nd April will host the 15th birthday celebration of the Finnish music company Fullsteam on Friday, March 31st in Tallinn Culture Hub (Kultuurikatel). The performers at the event include Huoratron, Paperi T and DJ Kridlokk from Finland and Estonian NOËP.

The Helsinki-based music company Fullsteam, founded in 2002, started as a record label and has since expanded into concert promotions, festivals, artist booking and management. In its fifteen years in business, Fullsteam Records has published over a hundred records by acknowledged artists like Disco Ensemble, Ismo Alanko, Lapko and Rubik. Fullsteam Agency has promoted more than a thousand international artists from the world’s most renowned acts to marginal cult bands, represented numerous Finnish artists, and organized several events and festivals, including Sideways, one of the hippest new music festivals in Helsinki’s busy summer calendar.

“Fullsteam’s growth both in the sense of revenue as well as in the number of gigs has been exhausting. Last year was the best in Fullsteam’s history highlights including a sold out Sideways Festival, a record of daily visitors at Provinssi Festival, sold out arena concerts from Cheek to Justin Bieber, and several successful tours by domestic artists. Fullsteam Management has also been growing successfully and now represents over 20 clients. This is a great place to start our anniversary year”, says Heidi Aho, Managing Director of Fullsteam Agency.

The anniversary year’s opening event, Fullsteam’s 15th Birthday Party, hosted in Tallinn’s Kultuurikatel, presents live performances by Finnish electro extraordinaire Huoratron and Estonian singer-producer NOËP as well as DJ sets from the most promising talents in the Finnish rap scene, Paperi T and DJ Kridlokk.

Huoratron aka Aku Raski, is an alchemist of the esoteric art of sound able to get both hardcore punks and hipsters to line up for hugs after soul purging gigs. He’s both a scientist who crafts sounds and beats with the care of a 17th-century violin-maker, and a showman who moshes his way into the hearts of his audiences with music defined by a fearless attitude, a disrespect of the rules and a dedication to the cause.

A soothing variance to Huoratron’s tough sound and raw aesthetics will be complemented by smooth and soft vibes by NOËP aka Estonian singer-producer Andres Kõpper, who has already created quite a buzz both in Estonia and on an international scale with his infectious blend of stripped back electronica. At live shows, Kõpper can be seen armed with a keyboard, laptop and launch pad; transforming himself into a persuasive one-man army.

The birthday vibes will be provided also with DJ-sets by two of the most exciting and promising talents in the Finnish rap scene – Paperi T and DJ Kridlokk.
